About White Oak, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

White Oak is located in Hamilton County, Oklahoma, and as of 2010, about 19,200 residents called this area home. This community was previously known as Saint Jacobs until it acquired its current name. It consists of 6.2 square miles of total area, and it is located only about 11 miles north of downtown Cincinnati. White Oak is also located near other major cities – it is 50 miles from Dayton, 105 miles from Indianapolis, and 110 miles from Louisville, Kentucky.

Residents and Cincinnati-area visitors can find things to see and do when in White Oak. There are several parks located here, including Blue Rock Park and Haubner Field. Fitness enthusiasts may enjoy visiting FITWORKS White Oak, Victory Lady Fitness Center, and Game On Sports Complex. White Oak is also home to several popular Cincinnati-area restaurants, including Thai Namtip, Tavern on the Bend, and Crossroads Sports Bar and Grill. The White Oak Shopping Center, Good Shepherd Co., and White Oak Garden Center are also worthwhile stops when visiting the area.

Like most of the Cincinnati area, White Oak is situated in the transitional zone between humid continental and humid subtropical areas. This means that residents will experience four distinct seasons, starting with a cold and snowy winter at the top of the year. While average highs are usually in the 30s, cold fronts with freezing temperatures are quite common. Some nights even see lows fall below zero, and without the right furnace system in place, these conditions could become extremely dangerous.

The weather in the summer is a different story. Residents will turn off their furnace and crank up their central air conditioners, as temperatures are hot and humidity levels are high. Average high temperatures in July reach the mid-80s, but there are over 20 days each season the experience highs well above 90. An energy efficient air conditioning unit will keep interior temperatures cool while also helping to ensure that cooling costs stay affordable.
