About Montgomery, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Montgomery, Ohio is a city found in Hamilton County, and it is home to about 10,200 people. The city was settled in 1796 and was previously a coach stop along the Cincinnati-Zanesville Road. It currently retains many of its 19th century homes and historic downtown area, and it is an affluent bedroom for community for people that work in neighboring Cincinnati. The Sycamore Community School District serves the area, but there are also private schools found here, including Ursuline Academy for girls and Moeller High School for boys. Notable residents have included California Governor John B. Weller and Seinfeld and Super Troopers actor Daniel von Bargen.

There are several things to do when visiting or living in Montgomery. The park system in Montgomery consists of six parks, a pool, and a nature preserve, and there are over 10 miles of bike paths. The arts are popular in this community, and the City of Montgomery Arts Commission hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including Improv at the Uni and the Live at the Uni Concert Series. Other popular events in the community include the Valentine’s Day concert by the Blue Ash Montgomery Symphony Orchestra, the Independence Day Festival, and the Bastille Day Summer Street Festival.

The Montgomery area experiences four distinctive seasons throughout the year, so area residents often invest in multiple climate control systems. During the winter, residents rely heavily on their heat pump or furnace systems, as conditions are cold and snowy. HVAC technicians recommend getting their systems serviced during the autumn months to ensure they work properly when needed. Likewise, during the summer, there are many days in which temperatures exceed 90 degrees and combine with high humidity. In order to stay safe, an energy efficient central air conditioning unit is needed, and when properly maintained these systems can also help residents to save money on their seasonal cooling costs.
