About Harrison, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Harrison is a Hamilton County city located within the Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky Metro Area. As of 2010, the population was approaching 10,000 residents. This city was named for U.S. President William Henry Harrison, and although it was incorporated in 1850, it didn’t become a city until 1981. William Henry Harrison High School is found in this community, and graduates can continue with their education at the Cincinnati State Technical and Community College West Campus, which is also found in the city.

There are a variety of attractions located in and around Harrison. Golf enthusiasts might enjoy booking a tee time at Robins Nest Par 3 and Driving Range or Circling Hills Golf Course. Visitors who are looking for a more relaxing experience might prefer to visit Salon Uruku, Parlour on the Avenue, or Cindy Nixon and Co Hair Styling. Outdoor recreation is also popular in the community at Miami Whitewater Forest and Green Acres Canoe and Kayak Rental.

Weather conditions in Harrison vary quite dramatically with the seasons. Many of these weather extremes occur during the winter months, when the weather becomes cold and snowy. On average, the area receives about 22 inches of snow each year, but with temperatures often failing to reach the freezing point, conditions can become dangerous outdoors even if there isn’t a significant amount of precipitation. A professionally-serviced furnace will keep residents safe throughout the season.

During the summer months, the area experiences hot and humid conditions with significant rainfall, and there are many days in which thermostat readings surpass 90 degrees. Without the proper climate controls in place, such as a central air conditioning unit, indoor temperatures could become dangerously hot. Since many homeowners are concerned about keeping their heating and cooling costs as low as possible, investing in an energy efficient model can be a great option to keep homes cool while also saving money.
